Simon Zurfluh

I grew up in the Swiss Alps and later moved to Zurich to study computer science at ETH Zurich. After completing my Master's degree, I joined Ergon Informatik AG, where I work as a software engineer and project manager.

In my work, I am interested in building systems that are reliable and understandable. I care about software architecture that remains maintainable over time and about applying machine learning in ways that are practical and responsible. I enjoy working on problems that require both technical depth and coordination between different stakeholders.

I try to approach projects with a sense of ownership and clarity. For me, this means taking responsibility for outcomes, communicating transparently, and maintaining steady execution over time. My background in competitive sport has influenced how I think about discipline and long-term consistency.

I value collaboration and learning. Most good results are the outcome of thoughtful teamwork rather than individual brilliance, and I see my role as contributing to that process.
